The Donaldsonville City Council met in its regular scheduled meeting on Tuesday, April 13, at 6 p.m. All members of the council were present.
The City Council finally passed the recreation contract in an agreement with the parish.
Councilmen Reginald Francis, Emile Spano, and Raymond Aucoin moved forward with their "yes" vote to allow the parish to render services of recreation for the city.
Both Councilmen Charles Brown and Tony Huey agreed that the $46,000 held in the budget should be split evenly between West Ascension's basketball and baseball activities.
