GARBAGE COLLECTION NOTICE READ MORE UNDER CITY NEWS
Residents please be aware of the following as regards trash and garbage collection in the City of Donaldsonville:
Garbage collection is scheduled for all residents twice per week on one of the following schedules:
{Monday & Thursday} {Wednesday & Saturday} or {Tuesday & Friday}
Trash pickup will occur once per week for bulky waste on Monday, Wednesday or Friday according to when you have garbage pickup. For example, if you have garbage pickup on Monday & Thursday, your trash pickup day will be Monday; if you have garbage pick-up on Wednesday & Saturday, your trash pick-up day will be on Wednesday; if you have garbage pick-up on Tuesday & Friday, your trash pick-up day will be on Friday.
Please do not place your bulky waste/trash under power lines or low hanging branches that would hinder the boom truck from accessing it to pick it up. If you do this the boom truck will not be able to get to your trash and it will be left behind.
