Lauthaught Delaney Sr.
City Councilman District 1

Lauthaught Delaney, Sr. is a resident of the city of Donaldsonville. He is a graduate of Donaldsonville High School and Westside Vocational School. Lauthaught is married to the former Robyn Penn . They have a son, and a daughter and two grandchildren. He has been employed at Americas Styrenics formerly Chevron Phillip for over 35+ years. Lauthaught  is a member of  and attends  Mt. Triumph Baptist Church.



Raymond Aucoin
City Councilman District 2, Council Chairman

Raymond Aucoin was born and raised in Donaldsonville. He is a graduate of Ascension Catholic High School. He received a B.A. at Nicholls State University and MED from Louisiana State University.

 

 

 

Reginald L. Francis Sr.
City Councilman District 3

Reginald L. Francis Sr. is a life- long resident of Donaldsonville. He graduated form Donaldsonville High School. He was elected in October 2008. He has served as a councilman for approximately 18 months serving his second appointment. He is married to Linda C. Francis. They have one son, Reginald Francis Jr. and two daughters, Tiffany and Lindsay. He has six grandchildren: Deandre, Blaise, Ariane, Bryce, Pheinyx, and Eljae. He attends St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church.

 


Rev. Charles Brown Sr.
City Councilman District 4, Council Co-Chairman

Charles R. Brown, Sr., is a life long resident of Donaldsonville and a product of the Ascension Parish School System, graduating from Donaldsonville High School. He attended Southern University, River Parish Vocational School, and Christian Bible College. Councilman Brown is married and is the father of two children. He currently serves as Councilman for District 4, and he is also an Associate Minister at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Donaldsonville, Louisiana. Councilman Brown is employed by the Iberville School and part-time with Ascension Parish

As a City Councilman, Rev. Brown has strived to be a voice and leader in city government and in the community as he addresses social, educational, economical, and political issues within our city. Councilman Brown exhibits this by spending his spare time volunteering in the schools, working with the youths in the community, and through his nursing home and jail ministries. As Councilman, his main objectives has been to work as a team with the Mayor and Council; to meet the needs of the constituents; to continue to be an active voice for the constituents; and to continue to create an attractive environment for people desiring to do business and to live in the City of Donaldsonville. He was created, saved, and commissioned to serve. He serves God by serving others.

 

 

Emile Spano

City Councilman District 5

Emile Spano was born and raised in the city of Donaldsonville. He is a life-long resident of Ascension Parish. He is a 61-year-old democrat and has served as city councilman since March 27. He is a graduated of Ascension Catholic High School and attended Nicholls State University for three years. He is a retired Ascension Parish Assessor. He is married to the former Mary Denoux for 38 years. They have one son, Kiley Spano, and two daughters, Trish Spano Castrogovannie and Beth Spano Anthens. He has five grandchildren: Michayla and Luke Spano, Cole and Camryn Castrogovannie and Christopher Anthens. He is a parishioner of Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church.
